The Way of Jesus is the only way to Heaven, and by the faith He has given me my life belongs to Him alone. “But God, being rich in mercy because of his great love with which he loved us, even though we were dead in offenses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you are saved! — and he raised us up together with him and seated us together with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, to demonstrate in the coming ages the surpassing wealth of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so that no one can boast. For we are his creative work, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared beforehand so we can do them.” Ephesians 2:4-10.
Knowing and following Christ Jesus is not so difficult as some say because His presence in the life of those who know Him makes the Way easier. But, yes, ‘being’ a Christian can be difficult depending upon one’s view of Him and that of sin. If one is more fearful of sin than of Satan THAT is a huge distraction, but there is more.
As found in Joshua 24:15, I choose to serve the Lord. Also, “Therefore do not fear them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops. Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:26-31.
